Dr Emerson has taken me (and my brain) from confusion to clarity. He has given me tools and perspectives that have helped me immeasurably in my journey to, well, "me". Aside from being very personable, friendly, funny and kind, Dr Emerson is immensely knowledgeable and masterful at zeroing in on any dillemma's core target issue -- that thing that must be addressed; that thing (or those things) that will steer you to healthy resolution. I never felt like I was being coddled or simply appeased; I wasn't looking for a cheerleader. I wanted someone to help me sort out my life issuest, and help me to stay somewhat sane in the process :-). My mind, my brain, and my soul are all better for having met with him - thank you very much Dr E! (Mike)

Mike is really an amazing counselor, his approach is strong and comfortable. He makes you feel open and cared for. Yet he also gets to the bottom of things that you are generally unaware of. He takes time to listen and also makes sure he is providing you with everything you need before each session is over. He is an awesome guy and i am truly grateful to have found him.

If you have the opportunity to meet and learn from Dr. Emerson, please do not pass up such a valuable experience. Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Emerson. I am most grateful for his help working through issues from an abusive relationship and learning to trust again. I am learning to trust my inner self and to realize I have the confidence to continue to grow and move on from some difficult situations. Thank you Dr. Emerson, you are truly a good man.

I had spent most of my life having major problems with my behavior and actions and trying to understand the reason for them with no luck. I've always been plagued by anxiety and severe depression. Within a couple of sessions Dr. Emerson was able to help me learn things about myself that I never would have imagined. I have been seeing Dr. Emerson for about 7 months now, and in that time I have done a complete 180. He was able to help learn to take control of myself and easily keep it as well as deal with the stresses of life that helped lead me to making poor choices. While I still struggle with anxiety and depression, I'm now able to deal with it in a more healthy way. I highly recommend Dr.Emerson to anyone who feels they need help.

Everything was going well until one day my world fell apart and I could no longer cope with life. Choosing Dr. Emerson was the best decision I made. He taught me how to bring my anxiety level down and helped guide me through life altering events. I highly recommend Dr. Emerson.

I have had the benefit of seeing Dr Emerson for three years. In that period of time Dr Emerson has helped me resolve issues and trauma from early parts of my life which have negatively impacted my ability to make good choices. Dr Emerson is patient and has helped me in stages, which enabled me to build a solid foundation so I can now make better choices. Dr. Emerson has been a great source of encouragement and steadiness to me. He always speaks the truth and is consistent, two very important things in my search to find stability. He was a huge help to me during a time when I questioned everything about myself, I am now stronger and more confident. He has also been there as I faced a very difficult crisis in my life and was able to walk me through it without "losing myself" again. I am grateful for his faith and encouragement of my faith.

I've know Dr. Mike for many years . He is a great friend to my husband and I . I love his input, advice, ect.. Thank you for being there for us.
